We are always caring. We are always here.
These are challenging times for everyone. Loneliness, separation and isolation from those that we love is never easy. This is especially difficult for some of the families we support where a parent, often the father, is serving a prison sentence.
Our founder, Charles Haddon Spurgeon believed and preached on redemption and transformation being available for all, no matter what a person had done. His was a heart of love, kindness and compassion and it is for this reason that you will find our teams working in prisons around the country, treating prison residents and their families with the love, kindness and compassion that Spurgeon demonstrated.
The aim of our prison family support services is to strengthen family relationships in the firm hope this will give children greater security, as well as support their fathers' rehabilitation. We know that where a father as a strong family relationship to return to, there is reduced chance of reoffending, so this work benefits the men we work with, their families and society as a whole. Our goal for this work and ministry is to help children and families have better relationships now, and positive hope-filled futures.
Together we can ensure that every child we work with is given a better present and a hope-filled life, full of potential.
