There is an exciting opportunity for a Outreach Worker to join our team in the Hodge Hill District as part of Birmingham Forward Steps. You will be based at one of the Children’s Centres’ in the district however need to demonstrate a flexibility to work across the district as required to deliver Stay and Play, Baby Groups, Bookstart and undertake follow-up visits where families are seen not to engage with the service at the Health Visitor Mandatory Visits.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in the relevant sector.
Applicants should be enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children and their families to reach their full potential and have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. A car driver and access to a car for work purposes is desirable. Please see the Job description and Person specification for further details.
