Spurgeons is one of the UK's leading children's charities, firmly supported by Christian beliefs and values, helping to support disadvantaged children and their families through delivering projects to support children, young people, their families and communities to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges they face.
We are passionate about the work we do and need equally committed members on our team to help us achieve those goals.
We are looking for dynamic individuals with NVQ3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent, to join our team at HMP Feltham Young Offenders Institution, to deliver family services within a prison setting. We are looking at attracting people who can bring energy, experience and skills to make a positive contribution to the Visitor’s Centre, and to delivering interventions with young dads and their families, inside the prison.
We are looking for people who reflect our values and are Compassionate, Inclusive and Hopeful in their place of work. We are a supportive and collaborative team, where you can help to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable young children and families.
Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to work on a varying rota basis including weekend working about once a month. A typical day is from 8am to 5pm.
Interviews will be held on Monday 3rd June 2019.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people we serve. This post is subject to necessary safeguarding checks including an appropriate level DBS Disclosure.
