Sarah Powley
Sarah joined our Board of Trustees in 2017. Sarah graduated at Nottingham University with a BA in Industrial Economics and initially worked for 13 years at KPMG (in both audit and mergers and acquisitions), where she was an associate director.
During this time Sarah also set up a charity Rainbow Farm to support a project for orphaned and abandoned children in Brazil, which she chaired for five years. She helped with the strategic review at the international aid and development charity Tearfund in 2006 and worked alongside the Global and Corporate Citizenship team at KPMG setting up charity partnerships before going on to be the Finance Director at the international children’s charity World Vision UK in 2007 for five years.
In 2012 Sarah went to do a Certificate in Theology at London School of Theology before becoming the Finance Director at The Fostering Network for three years and then joining the leadership of her church in Hounslow.
Sarah is now a full-time foster carer for teenagers and sibling groups, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee of the Evangelical Alliance and a coach for Viva the International Children’s Charity.
