Matthew 11:28

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." KJV

Surrendering all to God

So why does God want us to surrender all our cares and worries to Him?  Well, simply, this is to set us free and to give us inner peace.  God does not want you filled with tears, sadness and pain.  He does not want to see you all stressed out.  He wants you to go to Him, with everything, talk to Him about everything and surrender it ALL.  Do you not know that "with God nothing shall be impossible."  Luke 1:37 KJV.

We need to learn to let go.  We need to always remember that we do not have to try and work things out alone.  The bible tells us to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. KJV.

Jesus also says "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 NIV.

Let Us Pray

"Dear God, I feel so anxious about what's going on in my life and I don't know how to change the path I'm on, so I spend a lot of time and energy worrying."

"My spirit is suffering with discouragement, fear, doubt, and hopelessness. I don't want to live this way anymore. Please send the miracle I need to find peace in the body, mind, and spirit that you have given me!"

"From this day forward, please help me develop the habit of turning my worries into prayers. Whenever an anxious thought enters my mind.  I know the more I practice praying instead of worrying, the more I can experience the peace you want to give me."

"I choose to stop assuming the worst about my future and start expecting the best, because you're at work in my life with your great love and power."

"In Jesus name I pray.''
