Join our webinar for exam results day
Join our webinar and find out how to help your child through getting their exam results!
The anticipation of finding out results can eat away at teenagers; they do not yet know what the future holds. The culmination of years of study comes down to individual exam papers, and the fear of failure looms large.
How can we support our children and, if their results are not what they desired, help them through it?
Our parenting experts can give you the tools you need for exam results day.
Counselling Manager Nadine and Nicola, our resident parenting expert, will be holding a free webinar to parents on Friday 9th August at 12:30pm. You can book your place here.
Nicola and Nadine will be giving advice that will help your child cope better through this stressful period and find their path following their results, no matter what they are.
The webinar will cover the following areas:
- strategies to support your child
- supporting your teen in a crisis
- understanding fight or flight
- managing emotions
- coping with disappointment
- working with your child to move forward
There are always many paths to the same destination and getting their desired exam result is only one way. Not managing to get the grade they needed isn't the end of the path- it's just a pivot to a different path, and it can still lead to the same place eventually.
In our webinar you can learn how to help your child manage their difficult emotions, anxiety reactions and find ways to calm. And, if the results don't turn out as they'd hoped, we'll show you how to support them to continue on their way to a bright future.
