Verse of the Week - Romans 15:13 ESV
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

The God of Joy, Peace and Hope
What a beautiful way in which to depict our Father above. An all knowing God who wants to fill our hearts and minds with joy, peace, hope and love. When we trust in God and believe in the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, we are set free - for we know there is the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. Salvation is for us all. Jews and Gentiles alike. Romans 9:24.
As you read the above bible verse you might ask yourself, "Then why do I go through so much strife and trouble in my life? Why do I feel that I have no peace?" Sometimes difficulties and crisis are used by the Lord to bring us closer to him, to develop intimacy, so that we can grow closer to Christ. This won't happen overnight; it is a building of faith, and as the word says "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17. Let the power of the Holy Spirit, fill you with joy, hope and peace as you learn to trust in the Lord daily.
We are safe in the arms of Jesus and nothing can separate us from the love of God, and our hope. The various trials, we face, in life should be used as a catalyst to drawer us even closer to Christ, as we continue to believe. In our hope we grow in confidence, as we are filled with His joy and His peace; giving us the strength to stand against the temptations of the enemy. Our heavenly Father has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let Us Pray
"Heavenly Father, no matter what my circumstances are, you are worthy to be praised. You are my strength and my rock, a great comfort in times of trouble. Lord I ask that you would give me your peace in my time of trouble.
When I feel anxious please remind me that your word says I do not need to worry, but that in everything I should pray to you. When I feel out of control remind me that you are in control, and that you make all things work together for my good.
Thank you Lord for always being my present help, for helping me to increase my faith, and for giving me peace, hope and joy.
Amen
