Old Scholars Reunion 2022

On 18th June 2022, a reunion was held in Birchington for our Old Scholars. Old Scholars are direct beneficiaries of the legacy of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, growing up in children's homes including Stockwell, Reigate and Birchington.

Old Scholar Interviews

Hear from some of the attendees who reflect on the time they spent in Spurgeons homes.

They discuss what life was like in the homes, share notable characters who influenced their time in the home and discuss how the structure of the Spurgeons homes prepared them for future life.
