Elijah Kirby


Appointed in 2022, Elijah grew up in the care system and has spent 17 years in senior leadership roles across the UK & US. With a pioneering background in startup youth/social care settings, Elijah contributed to and worked closely with the Government "Once in a generation" Children's Social Care Review throughout 21/22.

Elijah has also planted and grown churches across the North East and London, and oversaw Tearfund's church engagement strategy as their Head of UK Church Partnerships. In 2020, Elijah launched NorthPoint Care, a social enterprise organisation aimed to help better the foster care system. He was shortlisted as a finalist in the GB Entrepreneur Awards for the "Award For Good".

Elijah is married to Jo and they live in Yarm, Teesside, with their 4 children.
