Family support service
Family support service
When parenting is tough, who do you have in your corner?
We support parents who are finding family life a challenge.
Our family and parenting programmes are designed to build confidence, knowledge, and self-esteem in each family member and to enable effective communication and solution building skills.
We hope that families will begin a journey towards confidence and hope in their relationships for the long term.
How do family support sessions work?
The programme is flexible according to the family's needs. We will work with a family for between 3-8 sessions, via 1:1 intensive support.
Each session will have a focus looking at building relationships, identifying any difficulties, and working with the family to find solutions and strategies to improve their current situation.
What changes will I see because of the course?
Our Family Support programmes impact families by:
- Building confidence and self-esteem in all family members
- Improving family relationships with abilities to understand and manage emotions
- Finding practical solutions by tailoring the support to the individual family’s needs
- Enabling parents to use a tool kit of techniques to manage family life now and into the future.
How do I sign up?
If you would like to sign up, you can do so on our referral form - choose Family Support - Self (refer your own family)
How much does the course cost?
Each session is £40 for the hour. Most families chose to have between three and eight sessions depending on the complexity of the situation they are sharing.
Where can I attend the course?
These course run either online as Teams meetings or in-person (currently available in Kent, Surrey and Sussex).
