In the UK alone, an estimated 2.4 million adults experienced domestic abuse in the last year, with women making up the majority of victims. Shockingly, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lives.
Domestic abuse can take many forms- physical, emotional, sexual, financial control and more. By understanding the signs and speaking out, we can collectively help break the cycle of abuse and support those in need.
