Father's Day 2024: Free activity sheets and printables

It's that time of year again, when the nation comes together to celebrate and recognise the men who play the role of dad in our lives.

Here at Spurgeons, we understand that no two families are the same, and with that in mind, we want to celebrate all of the fatherly figures in our lives. 

Father's Day always honours dads on the Sunday of the third week of June. This year, it will be the 16th of June 2024.

Father's Day: what's it all about?

Fatherhood includes more than just a biological connection, and the fatherly figures within our lives will often look different for each of us. But, the common thing that all father figures will share is the advice and guidance they offer, and the support they give to help us grow and evolve throughout some of the more challenging times. 

Father's Day then, is the perfect opportunity to create memories and spend quality time together. It doesn't have to be about grand gestures, or going out and purchasing an expensive gift, it is the simple acts of kindness that show our appreciate for the sacrifices they make. 

Free Father's Day printables 

This year, we wanted to create an opportunity for young people to express their gratitude in a personal and inexpensive way. That is why we have put together a free downloadable Father's Day activity book that includes a range of fun activities that children and young people can complete with their dads. 

Included in these free Father's Day printables is an activity sheet that enables your child to get creative and draw their favourite memory with their dad- a great way for them to express their appreciation, and a wonderful gift that can be framed or stuck to the fridge. The fun doesn't have to stop there though, there is also a word search and a fun quiz that you can complete together as a family included.
