Spurgeons' Buttons preschool in Ramsgate obtains good Ofsted report

Buttons staff and children celebrating a good report from Ofsted.

Buttons preschool obtained a 'good in all areas' Ofsted report.

Inspectors reported that at the preschool 'the manager and staff work hard to create a fun and interesting environment for children to freely explore,' and that 'relationships between staff and children are stimulating and caring. Children often run to staff to greet them and cuddle them'.

The school was also described as having a 'passionate manager and dedicated team', and that the school has 'an inclusive culture, where they are skilled at adapting activities so all children can join in'.

Sarah Wallis, Head of Delivery at Spurgeons charity, which runs Buttons, said: 'We are really excited that we've got this recognition of how good our services are and how good our provision for SEND is. We are able to tailor the work for whatever children need, and they all make progress regardless of where they've started from. Congratulations to the staff- we are so proud of them.'
