SPROUT
Growth starts with Spurgeons
What is SPROUT?
Spurgeons are the sole providers of the SPROUT programme – an 8-week course which acts as early intervention to enable young girls to develop positive behaviours and take steps towards a brighter future.
The programme aims to enable girls to feel empowered and supported to develop their own identity both now, and on into the future. The content of each session explores topics which girls experience within today's society, seeks to develop their understanding and provide tools to support their journey into adulthood.
Who is SPROUT for?
SPROUT is designed to support girls between the ages of 10-18 who have been identified as being in potential risk of exploitation, grooming or criminal involvement.
SPROUT was developed by Spurgeons’ Targeted Child and Youth Intervention Team in response to the growing number of young girls becoming involved in criminal activity or at risk of exploitation.
