Charity jobs with Spurgeons
We create family hubs where we’re needed most, with counselling, parenting advice and early years education. We work through churches, schools and prisons. Putting children first in everything.
So, when a family member needs support. We’re someone to turn to.
When wellbeing needs protecting, we do it together. When a safe space is the only answer, we make it a priority. We keep building connections and relationships, that last through life’s ups and downs.
Because we believe all children should have family support to thrive.
Spurgeons helped 30,500 families, children, young people and adults during 2022/23 but there are many more that need our support.

Interested in joining us?
Our mission is to improve the lives of families and children who are struggling to cope and give every child the opportunity of a hope-filled life.
Our values motivate and challenge us to be Compassionate, Fair and Committed. They are the essence of who we are and how we aspire to work with others. We want them to be how children, young people and families describe us; and for our partners, commissioners and funders to say that’s why they work with us.
Great progression opportunities
"I began my journey at Spurgeons as an Early Years Worker, through supervisions support and guidance from my colleagues and my local management team I grew in confidence and was successful in becoming a Family Support Worker which had always been my dream. With differing training opportunities, coaching, and the opportunities to reflect on my own practice...I have now become a Senior Family Support Worker, which enables me to share my passions and skills with others and pass on the knowledge and skills I have gained through the people I have worked with and alongside."
Rachel-Louise West- Senior Family Support Worker, Wiltshire Children's Centre Services
