Support us / There is hope

There is hope.

At Spurgeons, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive.

Modern life can be challenging for children and the families that support them. That’s where we come in, and we’d love for you to be a part of giving them hope.

Spurgeons are here to support all families, no matter what challenges they’re facing. We provide this support through our family hubs, places for families to go to - often found in the centre of our communities such as churches, schools and prisons - to access a range of support services.

Behind every person we help is a story. Take Joy, a 14-year-old girl who'd been in care for eight years and was referred to us by her school as she was struggling with attendance and maintaining healthy relationship. After working with us, Joy was able to maintain healthy relationships with peers, professionals, friends, and family. Her school engagement improved significantly, and she now aims to achieve better grades in her GCSEs and attend college. Joy told us that she has finally gained her independence and aspires to be an ambassador for change.

That's the life-changing difference people like you make when you support our work.

Connect with us to be part of it

Last year, we supported over 27,500 children and families, continuing the legacy of Charles Spurgeon to help the most vulnerable.

Sadly, there are thousands more children like Joy who need our help. Be part of a growing movement of people lending a hand to those who need it.
