Bringing ‘hampers of happiness and joy’ to families affected by domestic abuse

The Spurgeons Norwich Connect service, which provides support to families affected by domestic abuse, has been chosen as a charity partner for the third year running in the Love Norwich Christmas Hamper Appeal to provide hampers of ‘happiness and joy’ to over 30 families across Norfolk.

The Love Norwich project produces and finances hampers to support families across Norfolk over the Christmas period through their annual Christmas hamper appeal. Spurgeons Norwich Connect has been particularly grateful this year to have received support from Love Norwich to deliver hampers to clients working with the service who are particularly vulnerable due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this short video produced by Spurgeons Norwich Connect and Love Norwich, Sophie and Maria from the Spurgeons project discuss how the service provides support to those struggling to cope and how the Christmas Hamper Appeal has enabled them to bring joy at this special time of the year.
